
Zomedica Pharmaceuticals shares rise 6.3% on US election worries
ZOMEDICA PHARMACEUTICALS HAS INCREASED 6.6% in U.S. trading on Wednesday following concerns that the election could destabilize the drug industry.
Shares of the company jumped 8.3%.
The company’s shares rose 3% to $15.89 after the news.ZOMEDICAS shares were the biggest gainers among all U.K.-listed stocks on the S&P 500 index, up 2.4% to 1,928 points.

Shares of Corbicare rose 2.3%, while Valeant rose 1.6%.
Shares of Amgen rose 1% to close at $52.75, while Valeera rose 0.9% to 3 cents.
Shares in Pfizer rose 0,1% after the company said it would boost spending by $100 million in 2017.
Shares in AstraZeneca rose 0%, while Bristol-Myers Squibb rose 1%.
Shares in Novartis rose 2% after it reported a loss of $6.3 billion for the year ended June 30.
